Savory cornmeal lazy pie - I don't know where the name "lazy pie" came from. There is a lot of work around her. It is said that lazy people make lazy women. Here is my lazy pie recipe.

Salty cornmeal lazy pie, ingredients:

  • 2 pieces of eggs
  • 2 dl yogurt
  • 2 dl of sour water
  • 0,5 dl oil
  • 1/2 baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon of salt
  • 1 spoons of linseed
  • 250 grams of corn flour
  • 150 grams of wheat flour

For the filling:

  • 1 dl oil
  • 1 large leek waist
  • 300 grams of cleaned Swiss chard
  • 1 tablespoon of dried vegetables
  • 1 egg
  • 200 grams of hard homemade cow's cheese
  • 1 tablespoon of roasted sesame seeds

Savory cornmeal lazy pie, preparation:

  • Beat the eggs, add: yogurt, sour water, salt and oil, beat again with a fork for a few more minutes.
  • Mix both flours with baking powder and flax seeds well to combine.
  • Add flour to the mixture with eggs, stirring gently. You will get a grainy mass that you will pour into a greased tray with a ladle. Pour half of the prepared mass.
  • Heat the oil in a pan, add sliced ​​leeks. Fry a little, add cleaned and washed Swiss chard cut into strips and dried vegetables. Simmer for ten minutes.
  • Remove from the heat, stir in the egg and grated cheese. Add sesame seeds and mix everything together.
  • Place the tray with the poured dough in the heated oven and bake for ten minutes. Remove the tray and spread the prepared, chilled filling over the dough. Spread the second half of the dough on top.
  • Return to the oven again and bake at 200 degrees for another fifteen minutes.
  • Cover the baked pie with a cloth napkin and let it cool a little.
  • Cut into shapes of your choice and serve.
  • Serve sour cream with this pie.
