Salted vanilla ice cream.
Salted vanilla beans, ingredients:
- 250 g of flour,
- 100 g of butter,
- 100 g of grated cheese,
- 100 g ground roasted peanuts + chopped peanuts for sprinkling,
- 3 spoons of sour cream,
- 1 teaspoon of salt,
- 1 teaspoon of baking powder,
- 1 egg white,
- 250 g of cream cheese,
- 2 tablespoons of spices (to taste: parsley, oregano, dill, salt and pepper).
Salted vanilla beans, preparation:
- Put flour, salt, baking powder, chopped cheese, butter, sour cream, ground peanuts in a bowl and knead a smooth dough by hand.
- Wrap the dough in a plastic bag and keep it in the fridge for 30 minutes.
- Roll out the dough with a rolling pin to 0,5 cm, remove the vanilla pods with a cookie cutter and arrange them in a baking tray lined with paper.
- Beat the egg whites and coat with vanilla beans, sprinkle half of the vanilla beans with chopped peanuts.
- Bake at 180 degrees for 15-20 minutes, until they turn brown, and leave to cool.
- Beat the cheese with spices, salt and pepper and fill the empty vanilla bean filling and combine it with the peanut vanilla bean filling.
