Savory Stars - I got these little star shaped muffin tins and decided to give them a try and this savory version of Pea and Cheese Muffins was born.

  • 3 pieces of eggs
  • 1 dl of olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons of fine sea salt
  • 200 g of soft flour
  • 150 g of white corn flour
  • 50 g of corn grits
  • 5 dl kefir (or yogurt)
  • 200 g of small cheese
  • 200 g of peas (frozen)
  • 0,5 bunches of person (chopped finely)
  • 1 bag of baking powder
  • 2 tablespoons of white sesame
  • 2 tsp cumin (ground)
  1. Break the eggs into a deep dish, add oil and salt and beat everything with a wire.
  2. Add the dry ingredients and mix.
  3. Now pour kefir into this mixture and mix everything nicely into a compact mass.
  4. Add peas, coarsely chopped parsley. Add sesame and cumin and leave a little for the top. Combine everything nicely into a smooth mixture.
  5. Take silicone molds in the shape of stars and pour the mixture almost to the top in each one, leaving some empty space so that the dough does not come out of the mold during baking. Bake at 180C degrees for about ten minutes. I use hot air when baking, and you adjust the baking to your oven.
  6. Remove the baked stars to cool.
  7. Remove the molds and serve.
