Quince sweet.

Quince sweet, ingredients:

  • 1 kg of cleaned quinces
  • 1,25 kg of sugar
  • 400 ml of water
  • 1 lemon

Quince sweet, preparation:

  • Wash, clean, peel and dice the ripe quinces. Put in cold water so that it does not darken.
  • Cook a thick syrup from sugar and water. Remove the quince cubes from the water and drop them into the cooked syrup and continue cooking.
  • The dessert is ready when you put a spoonful of syrup on the tray, make a line with the tip of the spoon, and the line remains.
  • Cut the lemon into rings and peel. Add it towards the end of cooking. Remove from the heat, skim off the foam and cover with a wet, clean cloth.
  • Put the washed and dry jars in the oven, turn it on at 100 C, after about half an hour, take out the jars and let them cool down.
  • Leave the sweet to stand for 10-15 hours and pour into jars.
