Sweet quince with walnuts.
Sweet quince with walnuts, ingredients:
- 1 kg of quince
- 1,25 kg of sugar
- 1 glass of water
- 1/2 lemon
- a good handful of peeled and chopped walnuts
Sweet quince with walnuts, preparation:
- Clean and grate the quince.
- Pour water over the sugar and let it thicken (becomes thick).
- When the sugar has dissolved, carefully lower the quinces and cook the sweet at a reduced temperature.
- Add chopped walnuts.
- Wash the lemon well, with the sharp side of the sponge, cut it into rings and cook it together with the quinces.
- It's cooked sweetly - it's ready when you take the syrup with a spoon and it drops drop by drop.
- Remove the dish from the stove, collect the foam, cover with a wet cloth and leave it to stand until the next day.
- Pour sweet into sterilized jars, close with lids or double cellophane.
