Cherry sweet.
Sweet cherry, ingredients:
- 1 kg of cherries (peeled)
- 1,2 kg of sugar
- 1 bag of vanilla sugar
- 1 lemon
Sweet from cherries, preparation:
- Wash cherries, clean pits, weigh. Put them in a larger, deeper pan and sprinkle with sugar (cherry row - sugar row).
- Let it stand for ten hours, so that the cherries release their juice.
- Put it on the stove, when it boils, cook at a moderate temperature. Remove the foam. Do not stir, just shake the pan a little.
- Sweet is cooked when the syrup is thick enough. And the syrup is thick enough when it falls from the spoon in big, heavy drops or if you put a spoonful of syrup on a tray, let it cool a little, and then make a line with the tip of the spoon and the line stays.
- Cut the lemon into rings, peel it and add it towards the end of cooking. Then add vanilla sugar.
- When it is cooked (it takes about 30 minutes), remove it from the stove, cover it with a damp cloth napkin, and let it rest for 10-15 minutes.
- Then remove the napkin, put it back on the stove, release another 2-3 keys, remove from the stove, skim off the foam well, cover again with a wet napkin and let it stand for 10-12 hours at room temperature.
- Put the clean and dry jars in the oven, turn it on at 100 degrees, heat it up and after 30 minutes, remove the jars and let them cool down.
- Pour the sweet and close well.
- Enjoy the taste!
