Steaks with vegetables - Slađana Šćekić
Steaks with vegetables - juicy steaks and wonderful vegetables...
- 500 g steak ((pork, veal or chicken))
- 300 g of peas
- 1 piece of potato (smaller)
- 1 piece of onion
- 1 cloves of garlic
- 1 piece of carrot (larger)
- 1 dl white wine
- 1 dl of water
SIDE DISH:
- 250 g rice (boiled)
- Cut the steaks and season them - roll each steak in flour (it can be white, it can be black) then fry it in a little oil, then on the other side... pour 1 dl. of white wine and 1 dl. of water. cover and leave on low heat to simmer for about 1 hour .(if it is chicken schnitzel, the stewing is much shorter, about 30 min.)
- In another pan, saute finely chopped onion and garlic... add salt to soften the onion, then add chopped carrot and washed peas. Cook for 30 minutes.
- 15 minutes before the end of cooking, add chopped potatoes.
- Then, near the end, add 2-3 spoons of sour cream.
- Stir and cook for another 5 minutes.
- Drain the rice and decorate as desired....
- Steaks prepared in this way are very soft and tender....
