Juicy turkey (chicken) steaks - juicy steaks in sauce and with side dishes...

Turkey steaks, ingredients:

  • 500 g of turkey (or chicken, cut into steaks)
  • 2 onions (finely chopped)
  • 2 cloves of garlic (finely chopped)
  • 1 large carrot (diced)
  • 1 dl of white wine
  • 2 dl of water
  • 2 spoons of black flour ((for rolling steaks))
  • 0,5 teaspoon of turmeric
  • 0,5 teaspoon pepper (ground)
  • 2 teaspoons allspice (1 to 2 teaspoons dry allspice)
  • 1 spoons of density
  • 2 spoons of sour cream

Turkey steaks, preparation:

  1. Cut the steaks into smaller pieces and roll each steak in flour and place them in a greased pan. Fry a little on one side and remove the steaks on a plate from the other side, then fry chopped onion and garlic and carrot in the fat where the steaks were fried.
    When the onion is slightly fried, arrange the steaks on top of the onion, pour the wine and water over the steaks, cover and simmer on low heat for about 1 hour.
    Five minutes before the end, add the spices, cover with thick cream and sour cream.
    Simmer for another five minutes until everything is nicely combined.
    Serve with boiled rice or mashed potatoes.
