Lemon juice - Sandra Avtovska
- 500 g of lemons (about 5 pieces)
- 1,5 kg of sugar
- 2 liters of water
- 4 bags of lemon juice
- Wash each lemon well and remove the stalks, i.e. both ends. Blend it with all the peel.
- Put the blended lemon, water, sugar and lemon juice in a deep jar (volume up to 5 l). Stir and cover.
- Let it stand at room temperature for 24 hours, stirring occasionally, so that the sugar melts.
- After 24 hours, strain the juice through a strainer or cheesecloth (once or twice, depending on whether you want pulpy or clear juice). Pour the juice into glass bottles or jars and seal well. Put in the fridge.
- Consume lemon juice with water, in proportion as desired (approximately 1/3 lemon juice and 2/3 water). Serve cold.
