Spaghetti sauce with miso - Cvijeta Mesić
- 2 tablespoons of oil
- 1 onion (chopped)
- 1,2 cloves of garlic
- 1 teaspoon of turmeric
- 1 cup mushrooms (sliced)
- 5 tomatoes (cut into smaller pieces)
- 3 green peppers (chopped)
- Half a carrot (grated or finely chopped)
- 2 bay leaves
- 2 cups of water
- 4-5 tablespoons of broth
- A little pepper and basil or oregano
- Heat oil in a pan, add onion and garlic and turmeric and simmer for 3-4 minutes. Add mushrooms, tomatoes, peppers and carrots and simmer for a few more minutes. Add water, bay leaf and cook for ten minutes. Stir in the miso and spices and cook, stirring often, for about 45 minutes. If necessary, add a little more water. Take out the bay leaf and mix the sauce with whole noodles, Parmesan cheese can be grated on top.
