Spaghetti with mussels - a quick and easy recipe... whenever you have the chance, buy fresh mussels and prepare this wonderful dish.

  • 0,5 kg of mussels
  • 0,5 packages of spaghetti (the thinnest, cooked for 4 minutes)
  • 5 cloves of garlic (4-5 cloves)
  • 1,5 dcl of white wine
  • olive oil
  • 0,5 bunches of person (finely chopped)
  • 1 spoon of breadcrumbs
  1. Clean the mussels from the tips and scrub the shells with a brush.
  2. All this must be done in cold water so that the mussels do not open.
  3. When they are cleaned and drained, put them in a container, cover and put them in the refrigerator while the onions and oil are fried.
  4. Finely chop the garlic and parsley.
  5. Put olive oil in the pan to cover the bottom, but not more.
  6. Heat the oil over low heat and add the garlic.
  7. Lightly fry it, but not too much, for about 2 minutes. add to him
  8. parsley and fry briefly (make sure that the onion remains light in color so as not to burn).
  9. Then take the mussels out of the fridge, drain the remaining water from the container (so that the dish is not too salty) and put the mussels in the pot.
  10. Mix everything well, so that the garlic and parsley are well combined with the mussels and cover
  11. Do not add salt because the shells themselves will add saltiness, otherwise the dish will be too salty.
  12. Stir occasionally and when the mussels start to open, pour white wine over them and stir.
  13. Let the liquid boil for a few more minutes.
  14. Then, make a hole between the mussels into which the breadcrumbs will be poured.
  15. Lightly add the breadcrumbs and simultaneously mix them with a whisk.
  16. The breadcrumbs will allow the syrup to thicken slightly.
  17. Mix everything well and leave the pot covered for another minute.
  18. When all the shells have opened, the dish is ready.
  19. Take out the mussels and put the already cooked spaghetti in the juice, leave them for about 5 minutes. to absorb clam juice.
  20. Mix the shells into the spaghetti, clean half of them and leave half with the shell to make them visually more beautiful.
  21. Sprinkle with a little more parsley and serve.
