Spinach (spinach sauce) - Kristina Gašpar

  • 100 g of fresh spinach
  • 1 teaspoons of oil
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • 1 teaspoon of flour
  • 1,5 dl of milk
  • to taste: salt and pepper
  1. Wash the spinach well and blanch it in boiling water - cook for about 3 minutes. Drain the water, chop it finely or blend it with milk. Fry chopped garlic for a few seconds, add flour, fry for about half a minute, then add spinach and milk. Season to taste and cook for a few minutes from the moment it boils.
  2. You can serve spinach prepared this way with fried meat, fried eggs, omelette... Or potato pancakes. I often serve it with mashed potatoes.
