A traditional recipe for Srem stew, which was prepared outside, in a kettle. Serve boiled potatoes, rice, or homemade pasta with this dish.

  • 1 kg of lamb meat
  • 500 g of beef
  • 4 pieces of tomatoes
  • 4 pieces of paprika
  • 200 g of onion
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • red wine (a little)
  • 1 teaspoon of ground hot pepper
  • bay leaf
  • landing
  • beaver

  1. Peel the tomatoes. Chop the onion.

  2. Cut the lamb meat into larger cubes, and the beef into smaller ones.

  3. Pour a little oil in a deep pan and briefly fry the ground pepper and onion.

  4. Remove from heat and add rows of meat, then a row of vegetables, season each row with spices. Pour water to soak.

  5. Cover and leave on medium heat to cook for about 2 and a half hours. At the end, add sour cream and let it cook for a few more minutes.
