Bacon sticks - a simple (basic) Celtic spiral belongs to the group of symbols that are directly related to infinity and the repetition of the cycle of life.
The very sight of the spiral that "opens" in a clockwise direction indicates the process of birth, constant movement, and man's almost innate need to come into contact with cosmic forces, which would provide him with a "higher knowledge". In short, this spiral is an ideal symbol for all those who want to progress, both materially and spiritually.
And now... Bacon Sticks. Quick and easy.
Bacon sticks, ingredients:
- 2 cubes of puff pastry (500g),
- 200 g of bacon,
- two egg yolks,
- spices to taste
- some flour,
- 100 g of cheese and
- 1 leek.
Sticks with bacon, preparation:
- Sprinkle the work surface with flour, roll out the thawed puff pastry with a rolling pin.
- Spread grated cheese, leeks, and spices to taste on the surface of the dough.
- Cut into strips about two fingers thick and about 15 cm long.
- Place thinly sliced bacon, grated cheese and chopped leek on each strip, then twist the ends.
- A spiral wand should be obtained.
- Arrange in a pan lined with baking paper, then brush with egg yolk.
- Bake in an oven heated to 200 degrees.
