I used flour milled at the mill near Ded Mija, Vrmdž, Sokobanj.
Ethno mill "Kod deda Mije"
It is located not far from Vrmdža, halfway between the village and the Vrmdža Lake. Here is the true enjoyment of untouched nature and healthy food.
The offer of Etno Vodnica "Kod deda Mije" includes baking, buns under the honeycomb, cooked dishes, old Serbian dishes, proja, gibanica, kačamak.
The mill provides services for milling grain, all types of corn, wheat and wholemeal flour. Next to the water mill there is an accommodation facility for guests.
Traditional greens made from white corn flour, ingredients:
- 3 tablespoons of fat,
- 2 cloves of onion,
- 300 g of cheese,
- 2 dl sour cream,
- 300 g of Swiss chard,
- salt to taste
- 2 dl yogurt
- one sachet of dry yeast,
- 300 g of white corn flour ground in a mill
- 200 g of white wheat flour.
Old-fashioned greens made of white corn flour, preparation:
- Chop the Swiss chard, add sour cream, chopped onion with poultry, cheese, fat, yogurt, salt, yeast, and finally mix white corn and ordinary wheat flour.
- Mix everything well, grease the pan, spread the mixture and bake in a heated oven until nicely browned.
