Old fashioned unleavened scone.
Old fashioned scone, ingredients:
- 1 kg of flour,
- 500 ml of sour water,
- 1 teaspoon of salt,
- half a bag of baking soda and
- one tablespoon of fat.
Ingredients, preparation:
- Sift the flour, add baking soda, salt, sour water and knead the dough.
- Bake the scone, then when it cools down, cut off the top crust, and cut the inside of the scone into cubes.
- Heat a spoonful of homemade lard, then pour the hot melted lard over the inside of the cut cake. When the cake is soaked, cover it, wrap it in a cloth and let it rest.
I opened the top crust and arranged the meat cut into strips from the grill and decorated with spring onions. After that, I cut the cake with all the accessories inside.
