Startup 2020: entrepreneurship from a female perspective - the "Entrepreneurship from a female perspective" conference was held at the Rectorate of the University of Novi Sad, which was organized as part of the "Space4Women: Let's step into the world of new ideas" project.
The conference represents the final activity within the Space4Women initiative for 2019, which was launched by the Student Association of the University of Novi Sad and the City of Novi Sad-City Administration for Economy, under the auspices of the Cabinet of the Minister of Innovation and Technological Development of the Republic of Serbia. The Space4Women initiative is the result of the work of a sincere, dedicated and enthusiastic team whose desire is to encourage young women through their activities to be innovative and to step into the world of entrepreneurship.
At the opening ceremony, project coordinator Danijela Ćirić, acting head of the City Administration for Economy Saša Bilinović and adviser to the Minister for Innovation and Technological Development of the Republic of Serbia prof. Ph.D. Bojan Lalic.
The conference was organized with the aim of presenting successful and inspiring stories to young people, which can be their motivation and encouragement on the way to personal and professional development. Visitors had the opportunity to hear the experiences of successful women from the country and the region who can be motivation and encouragement on the way to their personal and professional development through the segments Success stories and the panel Entrepreneurship from a woman's point of view: Dr. Dragana Đermanović - president of PCG Group, entrepreneur and advisor in the field of digital transformation, Dr. Sanja Popović Pantić - president of the Association of Business Women of Serbia and national consultant for the development of women's entrepreneurship, Gaia Montelatica - co-founder of Impact Hub Belgrade, Olga Mirković Maksimović - expert in in the field of digital transformation and a member of the education group of the "Digital Serbia" Initiative, Biljana Ždrale - co-founder of the Boostowski startup and co-owner of the Serbian branch of the world's largest consultancy Mercuri International, Martina Anđelković - owner of the marketing agency Snajka de Madre, entrepreneur and lecturer in the field of advertising on social networks , Teu and Miu Stojanović, Sara Petrović, Sofija Tešić and Višnja Žigić - the creators of the "Outwit Pythagoras" project. The visitors also had the opportunity to attend the final of the Space4Women competition, in which the six best teams from the University of Novi Sad presented their innovative ideas to the jury.
