Strudla with quince - Verica Poznanović - Recipes and Cookbook online

It smells like autumn, strudel with quince or gunja, whatever...

Strudel with quinces, ingredients:

You need for the dough:

  • 200 ml of milk,
  • 2 haha,
  • 20 g of yeast,
  • 1 teaspoon of sugar,
  • lemon zest,
  • a pinch of salt,
  • 1 dl oil i
  • about 700 g bran.

File:

  • 1 kg of grated gunja or quince
  • 8 spoons of sugar and
  • 2 bags of vanilla sugar. (mix sugar and vanilla sugar)

Strudel with quinces, preparation:

  • Dissolve yeast with sugar and a little flour in a little milk. Add the rest of the milk, eggs, lemon zest, oil, flour, salt and knead the dough. Leave covered to rise and stir. Divide the dough into four parts.
  • Separate the first part of the dough, sprinkle with vanilla sugar and spread 250g of quince at the beginning of the dough. Wrap in a roll. Do the same with the remaining three parts of the dough. Cover the pan with baking paper, arrange the strudels.
  • Let them rest for ten minutes. Turn on the oven at 200 degrees, then reduce it to 180 degrees and bake the strudel, just be careful not to overcook it.

Leave the finished strudel to cool, cut it, sprinkle it with powdered sugar or serve it with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, in both cases it is excellent.
