Strudla with jam - Dijana Popović - Recipes and Cookbook online

Inspired by the Flavors of Vojvodina, I decided to try another recipe, strudel with jam, from the big billboard at the Gastronomic Manifestation in Novi Sad.

Strudel with jam, ingredients:

  • 500 g of flour
  • 2 tablespoons of dry yeast
  • 100 g of sugar
  • a bit of salt
  • 125 ml of oil
  • 125 ml of lukewarm milk
  • 2 egg yolks + 1 egg white 1 egg white for coating the strudel
  • 300 g of raspberry jam and to taste

Strudel with jam, preparation:

  • Put half of the flour in a bowl.
  • Make a well and add egg yolks, egg whites, salt, sugar, dry yeast, oil and lukewarm milk.
  • Finely combine all the ingredients with the addition of the remaining flour.
  • Leave the dough to rise.
  • Roll out the resulting dough on parchment paper.
  • Spread the developed dough with jam.
  • Roll it up with the help of parchment paper.
  • Place in a pan and coat the strudel with unbeaten egg white.
  • Bake in a heated oven at 180 degrees for 40 minutes.
