Sunflower bread - many say that some of the breads I prepare have never been seen, let alone tasted. It just takes a little imagination about the combination of ingredients and that's all.

sunflower bread

Sunflower bread - many people say that some of the breads I prepare have never seen, much less tasted. It just takes a little imagination about the combination of ingredients and that's all.

  • 500 g black flour (type 850 or 950)
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 2 teaspoons of sugar
  • 10 g yeast (fresh)
  • 100 g sunflower (peeled)
  • 2 dl water (lukewarm)
  • 1 dl water (carbonated)
  1. Blend the sunflower with lukewarm water.
  2. Stir the yeast and sugar in the "sour" water.
  3. Combine all the dry ingredients in a bowl, make a well, pour in the sunflower mixture and yeast.
  4. Knead the dough.
  5. Let it rise - double in size.
  6. Shape the bread, decorate it as desired with sunflower seeds and leave it in a warm place to rise for about 20 minutes.
  7. Bake it in a preheated oven at 150 degrees for about 20 minutes and about 15 minutes at 200 degrees.

I bake the bread first at a lower temperature, then at a higher temperature so that it rises better, considering that it has "heavy" ingredients - black flour and sunflower paste.
