Swabian pie with plums.
Swabian plum pie, ingredients (this is a double measure):
- 500 g of flour,
- 25 g of fresh yeast,
- 2 dl milk,
- 2 teaspoons of sugar,
- 50 ml of oil,
- 1 egg,
- a little salt and
- 1 kg of plums.
For sprinkling:
- 150 g of flour,
- 100 g of margarine and
- 100 g of sugar.
Swabian pie with plums, preparation:
- Add two teaspoons of sugar and yeast to lukewarm milk.
- When the yeast rises, add the flour that you salted before.
- Add the rest of the ingredients for the dough and knead it well.
- Do not put all the flour at once, but add it gradually, because the dough should not be too hard and not too soft.
- Leave in a warm place until the dough doubles in size.
- Prepare the crumbly mixture for sprinkling by rubbing all the ingredients provided for it between the palms of your hands, until the mass turns into larger crumbs.
- Grease the baking tray, put out the dough, arrange the cleaned plum halves on top of the dough and sprinkle generously with the crumbly dough.
- Bake in a preheated oven for about half an hour until the pie is nicely browned.
