Bags with walnuts - Zuzana Grnja

- 1/2 kg of flour
- 3 eggs
- so
- Filling:
- plum jam
- 200 g of ground walnuts
- sugar
- In a suitable container, mix flour, eggs, a pinch of salt, and gradually add water to knead a compact dough.
- Then transfer the dough to a floured work surface and knead until it becomes smooth and elastic.
- Cover the dough with a kitchen towel and let it rest for about 15 minutes.
- On the work surface, use a rolling pin to roll out the dough into a large circle 2 mm thick.
- Place piles of jam at equal intervals on half of the circle, then cover with the other half of the dough.
- Put a pile of jam in between, flatten the dough with your fingers and cut equal pieces with a spatula.
- Cook in salted water until they float to the surface.
- Remove with a slotted spoon in cold water, drain and cover with a spoonful of oil.
- Sprinkle the cakes with a mixture of sugar and ground walnuts. Serve on a shallow tray and garnish with walnut halves.
