Veal with onion and ginger - a slightly stronger porridge after which usually no milk or a little milk is needed.
- 50 g of veal
- 1 handful of baby carrots
- 1 handful of peas
- 0,125 piece of parsnips (finely chopped)
- primrose leaf
- ginger (grated)
- 0,125 onions
- 0,5 handful of rolled oats (optional)
- Put the veal with peas, baby carrots and parsnips to cook. Peel a small onion or cut a piece and add it to the water.
- Cook for about 15 minutes until the meat is soft. Add parsley and grate some ginger (don't overdo it). Cook for another 5 minutes.
- Cook the oatmeal separately in double the amount of water for about 10 minutes.
- Strain the veal and vegetables and put them together with the oatmeal in a blender. Blend until smooth. If it is thick, add a little water to thin it out.
- Let it cool for about 10 minutes, check the temperature and give it to the baby.
Do not overdo it with the amount of onion and ginger.
