Cake with bananas - Dragana Skular
Banana cake - a light cake with bananas and delicious apricot jam, vanilla cream and whipped cream.
Ingredients for the crust:
- 5 pieces of eggs
- 5 spoons of sugar
- 5 spoons of flour (these are the ingredients for 1 crust, bake 2 crusts)
Ingredients for filza fil:
- 600 ml of milk
- 4 spoons of sugar
- 1 bag of pudding (vanilla)
- 2 spoons of flour
- 200 g margarine
- 150 g of powdered sugar
Still needed:
- 5 pieces of bananas
- 400 g of apricot jam (half a jar)
- 3 bags of whipped cream
- Beat the eggs well with the sugar... then add the flour while stirring gently.
- Bake one crust in a round pan and the other crust in a square pan.
- Immediately wrap the square crust in a damp cloth, forming a roll.
- When it cools down, spread it with apricot jam and roll it up.
- Mix pudding, flour with a little milk and cook with milk and sugar.
- When the filling has cooled, beat the margarine with powdered sugar and combine with the filling.
- Peel the bananas and cut them into rings.
- Spread the filling on the round crust and arrange the banana rings on top.
- Cut the roll into pieces 2 cm wide. and arrange over the banana rings.
- Then cover with the remaining filling and arrange the banana rings again.
- Decorate with whipped cream.
