Cake with dried fruit.
For the crust:
- 7 pieces of egg whites
- 7 spoons of sugar
- 100 g walnuts (finely chopped)
- 50 g of raisins
- 50 g of dried figs (finely chopped)
- 5 pieces of prunes (4-5 pieces, finely chopped)
- 3 tablespoons flour
- 0,5 pieces of lemon (peel)
For the cream:
- 7 pieces of egg yolks
- 7 spoons of sugar
- 125 g of margarine
- 2 bars of chocolate (for cooking)
And more:
- 2 bags of marshmallows (powdered)
- Whip the egg whites into a mixture while gradually adding sugar. When all the sugar has dissolved and the sham has become firm, gently mix in the walnuts, dried figs, prunes, raisins, the grated rind of a previously well-washed lemon and finally the flour. Mix everything well and pour the mixture into the largest rectangular pan lined with baking paper. Bake in a heated oven at 200 degrees. about 15-20 minutes. Remove the crust, cool it, turn it over and cut it so that you get three crusts.
- For the steamed cream, beat the egg yolks with the sugar with a mixer, and when the cream reaches the required thickness, remove it from the heat.
- Beat the margarine with the softened chocolate until very foamy and add to the cream. Mix everything well with a mixer.
- Put the first crust on the cake tray, cover it with cream and so on. Spread the cream on the last crust as well.
- Cover the whole cake with whipped cream, cool it well and serve.
