Cakes and pastries, recipes on how to prepare them, various instructions, tips and the like, are in great expansion on YouTube, according to the data shown in the show DW Shift.
By the way, out of the total amount of video content on YouTube, clips about food are always among the most popular, i.e. tips and instructions on food preparation. Cakes and cakes, of course, also lead the way. Some bloggers have managed to turn their passion for food preparation into a successful business. But only some of them, even in Germany.
Blogger Saliha Ozđan (Saliha Özcan) belongs to the group of culinary bloggers (food bloggers) and is one of the most successful among them. Her YouTube channel called Sally's world is dedicated to food preparation instructions and recipes and generates over 8 million views per month. Saliha has now turned her passion for cooking into a business, supporting herself from advertising revenue as well as sales through her online store.
Twenty-seven-year-old blogger Saliha has over 750.000 followers on her YouTube channel. Her success is not necessarily based on the quality of her food preparation recipes, but on the conventional approach and personal touch she gives to her videos. Now all her activities are part of the marketing concept, behind which stands a whole professional team that records her video content.
Some other YouTube bloggers in Germany have a slightly different, specific approach. Like Nicole Weber-Joerss, who has her own YouTube channel, where cakes and pastries are the focus, and where she demonstrates the preparation of special and complicated cakes. Her channel called Nicoles Zuckerwerk has more than 34.000 followers.
Nicole does everything completely by herself, starting with the script, shooting, and then editing the video content. It was difficult for her to adapt and do everything she does - work and speak in front of the cameras, but now it has become her daily routine. The cakes and pastries he creates in front of the cameras are real works of art. Very often she spends 3-4 days to record and process just one video clip. Regardless of everything, the quality of the video content, her dedication, the real works of art she creates, she is still not able to earn enough to support herself from it.
