Apple Triangles – A slightly different apple pie
- 15 pieces of pie crust
File:
- 300 g of apples (grated)
- 50 g of raisins
- 50 g of walnuts (chopped)
- 2 spoons of sugar
- 1 bag of cinnamon
To coat the crust:
- 1 bag of vanilla sugar
- 5 spoon of sugar
- 4 spoons of semolina
- 2 dl yogurt
- 2 pieces of egg
- 50 ml of oil
- 50 g of margarine
- Melt margarine and mix with oil. To coat the crust, beat eggs, then add sugar, vanilla sugar, semolina and yogurt.
- For the apple filling, stew the grated apples with sugar, and when it thickens, add chopped raisins, chopped walnuts and cinnamon, mix and leave to cool.
- Divide the crusts into 5 piles of 3. Put one crust, cover it with 2 teaspoons of margarine and oil mixture, put the second crust on top, then cover it with semolina filling, then put the third crust. Cut lengthwise into 3-4 strips (depends on the width of the crust), then apply apple filling along each strip and fold into a triangle, like baklava. Grease the tray and arrange the triangles. Mix the remaining semolina mixture with the rest of the oil, pour over each triangle and bake at 180 degrees C until golden brown.
