Turkish strudel - a slightly different strudel, excellent, high-calorie lunch or dinner, decide for yourself...

  • 6 sheets of pie crust
  • 500 g of beef (minced)
  • 1 piece of red onion
  • 1 piece of red pepper
  • 0,5 teaspoons ground paprika
  • 2 dl of tomato juice
  • 3 dl yogurt
  • 2 dl sour cream
  • 1 piece of egg
  • landing
  • garlic powder (a little)
  • so
  • spice mix (to taste)
  1. Fry the red onion and pepper in a little oil, then add the ground beef and fry it briefly. Continue stewing, adding water as needed.
  2. When the meat is half done, pour tomato juice, add ground pepper and spices to taste.
  3. Continue simmering until excess liquid evaporates.
  4. Remove from heat and cool.
  5. Take three pie crusts and spread a little filling on them, so that half of the filling is used up and stack them one on top of the other. Then carefully roll them up, and cut the resulting roll into pieces about 4 cm wide. Make another roll in the same way and cut it into pieces.
  6. Grease a suitable tray and place a piece of roll in it so that they are turned vertically with the cut side up.
  7. Separately beat yogurt, sour cream, garlic, egg and spices to taste. Cover the rolls with this mixture.
  8. Bake in a preheated oven at 200C until golden brown.
