Easter eggs – painting/dyeing eggs with natural colors, I start with bleaching.

Whitening eggs is simple - cover the eggs with water, add salt and vinegar and boil them for a few minutes (per 1 liter of water, add 1 dl of alcoholic vinegar and 1 tablespoon of salt). When they cool down, scrub them with a sponge and rinse. Now you can paint them with natural colors.
Dyeing eggs in red wine
Pour the wine over the whitened eggs to soak. Pour a little salt and cook them for ten minutes. Leave them overnight in the wine.
The approximate measure is: 5 eggs, 5 dl of wine and 1 teaspoon of salt.
Eggs dyed with red or red wine have a deep purple color with a pearly sheen.
Dyeing eggs with turmeric and onion peel
Put a handful of onion skins on the bottom of the pan, arrange the whited eggs (5 pieces), add a teaspoon of turmeric, cover them with another handful of skins, pour water to cover and cook them for about 15 minutes. Leave them overnight in the water. Rub the dried eggs with an oiled napkin to give them a shine.
Eggs dyed in this way have a dull orange color.
If you want your eggs to be colorful, before cooking them in natural colors, you can decorate them with leaves and wrap them in a nylon stocking.
If you like to experiment, combine natural colors to achieve the desired effect.
