Easter braid.
Easter braid, ingredients:
- 600 g of flour,
- 1/2 cube of yeast,
- 125 g of softened margarine,
- 3 dl milk,
- 1 teaspoon of salt,
- 1 teaspoon of sugar,
- 1 egg,
- 1 egg yolk,
- 150 g of cheese,
- 1 tablespoon of sesame seeds.
Easter braid, preparation:
- Put sugar, yeast and one spoonful of flour in the milk and let it rise.
- Place flour, salt, beaten egg, softened margarine in a bowl and knead with yeast and leave in a warm place for 1 hour.
- Knead the dough.
- Add cheese and mix.
- Divide into 2 parts and roll both into sticks. Coat one with egg yolk and sprinkle the other with sesame seeds. Connect these sticks and twist them into a braid, bend them into a circle, connect them and put them in a pan.
- Leave to rise for 30 minutes.
- Bake for 40 minutes at 200 degrees, until it turns golden brown.
