Easter diaconies and egg whitening – there is no need to worry about not finding the right color of eggs. You will need a little more time than with the usual procedure of dyeing eggs, but you will be more than satisfied with the effect achieved.

Whichever way you decide to dye your eggs, I recommend bleaching them first. Here's how you can do it.

When cooking eggs, add a little alcohol vinegar and a little salt. It is enough to pour 1 dl of vinegar and a teaspoon of salt on 1 l of water. Cook the eggs in the usual way. Leave them to cool in the water they were cooked in, then gently rub them with a damp cloth. You can use a trulex cloth for rubbing.

You will see how the shell peels off and the eggs turn white.

Once you are done with this process, you can decorate the eggs. Which technique you choose depends on what you want to achieve. You can find endless ideas on the internet.

And what has attracted special attention this year is certainly the decoupage technique of decorating eggs. It's nothing complicated. Multi-layered napkins are used for decoration (it is preferable that the motifs are smaller), egg whites, a painter's brush, a little imagination and, of course, eggs.

Cut the desired motifs from the napkins, remove the first layer, place it on the egg and coat with egg white. Egg whites should be partially beaten. Use boiled eggs for decoration.

In addition to the decoupage technique, dyeing eggs with natural colors is becoming more and more popular.

As natural colors you can use: turmeric, allspice, onion, coffee, blended spinach, blended (or finely grated) beets, purple cabbage...

Eggs dyed with natural dyes will have pastel shades.

In the photos, you can see eggs that have been dyed with turmeric and decorated with napkins.

Use natural dyes in the following way: put boiled eggs in a pot, pour water to soak them, add a little salt, a little vinegar and the desired natural color. You determine the amount of color yourself, but I advise you to add 1-1 tablespoons of turmeric to 2 liter of water. Bring it all to a boil, turn off the stove and let it stand for a few hours. Remove the eggs from the water, let them dry and brush with oil.

If you want to decorate eggs colored like this, use the oil after you finish decorating.

If you decide to use beetroot or another vegetable, add more vegetables - approximately one cup of dried beetroot per 1 liter of water.

When you have finished the ritual of painting and decorating eggs, devote yourself to the decoration of the Easter corner.

A few ideas, you can see in the photos.

The egg basket made of yeast dough certainly attracts special attention.

You can make a lot out of the same dough.

When it comes to sweets, too, let your imagination run wild.
