Easter wreaths.

Easter wreaths, ingredients:

For the dough:

  • 200 ml of milk,
  • 25 g of fresh yeast,
  • 2 teaspoons of sugar,
  • 50 ml of oil,
  • 50 g of yogurt,
  • 1 tablespoon of apple cider vinegar,
  • 1 teaspoon of salt,
  • 500 g of flour,
  • 1 egg.

For coating and sprinkling:

  • 1 egg,
  • if necessary, sesame.

Easter wreaths, preparation:

For the dough:

  • Put crushed yeast in lukewarm milk, add sugar, 1 teaspoon of flour, mix and let it stand for 5 minutes.
  • Then add oil, yogurt, egg, vinegar and mix.
  • Add a couple of spoons of flour, salt, mix, then knead the dough with the gradual addition of flour.
  • Place the dough in an oiled bowl, cover with transparent cling film and let it rest for 45 minutes.
  • Transfer the resulting dough to a greased work surface and divide it into 12 parts, forming noodles.
  • Cover with transparent cling film and leave to stand for 20 minutes.
  • Roll out each noodle into a roll on an oiled work surface.
  • Cut down the middle, but only one end.
  • Do not cut the other end of the dough all the way.
  • Fold over to form a braid.
  • Join the ends to form a wreath.
  • Arrange the prepared wreaths in a tray lined with baking paper. Coat them with beaten egg and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
  • Bake in a well-heated oven at 180 degrees for 25 minutes.
  • Remove the finished wreaths from the oven and let them cool.
  • Serve and serve Easter wreaths.
