Easter wreaths.
Easter wreaths, ingredients:
For the dough:
- 200 ml of milk,
- 25 g of fresh yeast,
- 2 teaspoons of sugar,
- 50 ml of oil,
- 50 g of yogurt,
- 1 tablespoon of apple cider vinegar,
- 1 teaspoon of salt,
- 500 g of flour,
- 1 egg.
For coating and sprinkling:
- 1 egg,
- if necessary, sesame.
Easter wreaths, preparation:
For the dough:
- Put crushed yeast in lukewarm milk, add sugar, 1 teaspoon of flour, mix and let it stand for 5 minutes.
- Then add oil, yogurt, egg, vinegar and mix.
- Add a couple of spoons of flour, salt, mix, then knead the dough with the gradual addition of flour.
- Place the dough in an oiled bowl, cover with transparent cling film and let it rest for 45 minutes.
- Transfer the resulting dough to a greased work surface and divide it into 12 parts, forming noodles.
- Cover with transparent cling film and leave to stand for 20 minutes.
- Roll out each noodle into a roll on an oiled work surface.
- Cut down the middle, but only one end.
- Do not cut the other end of the dough all the way.
- Fold over to form a braid.
- Join the ends to form a wreath.
- Arrange the prepared wreaths in a tray lined with baking paper. Coat them with beaten egg and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
- Bake in a well-heated oven at 180 degrees for 25 minutes.
- Remove the finished wreaths from the oven and let them cool.
- Serve and serve Easter wreaths.
