Pickles with beetroot – unusual and very healthy and tasty pickles….

  • 100 g. grated beets
  • 100 g. crumbled cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 3 tablespoons of oil
  • 1/2 baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon of dry yeast
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon sugar (for yeast)
  • 2,5 dl. milk or water
  • 400-500 years. flour
  1. Dissolve the yeast in lukewarm water to which 1/2 teaspoon of sugar has been added.
  2. Grate the beets on a fine grater and add the flour to which the yeast has already been added, salt, oil, egg, crumbled cheese and baking powder. Mix everything well so that the dough is neither soft nor too hard.
  3. Leave the dough for 15 minutes. to rest, then unfold it and cut it into the desired shapes.
  4. Fry on one side and then on the other side....
  5. Serve with yogurt or cheese.
Uštipki prepared in this way are a fantastic dish for all those who don't like beets... And in the dough you can't feel the beets at all, and the uštipki have a beautiful and tempting appearance....
