Valentino roll – ROLL FOR LOVERS… delicious juicy and very unusual….

 

Valentino roll - Slađana Šćekić

  • 3 eggs
  • 4 spoons of sugar
  • 4 tablespoons flour
  • 100 g of grated fresh beets (finely chopped)
  • ½ baking powder
  • 1 tablespoons of oil
  • 2 bags of vanilla sugar
  • PHIL:
  • 250 ml milk
  • 1 pudding (banana flavor)
  • 50 g margarine
  • 50 g coconut for sprinkling
  1. Beat the eggs with sugar, add the flour mixed with the pastry, oil and at the end slowly mix in 100g of beets.
  2. Pour into a tray (35×35) where we have put baking paper. Bake the roll at 180°C for about 15 minutes (depends on your oven).
  3. While the crust is baking, prepare the filling. Put milk (200ml) to boil and mix 50ml of milk with sugar and pudding in another bowl - pour in a stream and mix continuously.
  4. Add margarine to the cooked pudding. Combine everything well and coat the roll (leave two tablespoons of filling on the outside to coat the roll).
  5. Cover the outside with the remaining filling and sprinkle with coconut.
