Purple cabbage stew - an interesting combination of purple cabbage, pumpkin, potatoes, carrots and spices...
- 1 piece of onion (finely chopped)
- 0,5 tsp turmeric (powder)
- 0,5 tsp cumin (ground)
- 300 g carrots (chopped into rings)
- 300 g potatoes (diced)
- 300 g of pumpkin (cut into cubes)
- 300 g of purple cabbage (chopped into larger pieces)
- 0,5 teaspoon coriander (dry leaf)
- 3 pieces of dill (sprigs)
- salt (to taste)
- 1 teaspoon of flour (any kind (I used chickpea flour))
- hot pepper (to taste)
- This dish is prepared like most similar dishes.
- Fry the onion in hot oil, then add the spices, and then the chopped vegetables except the pumpkin.
- Pour water while cooking.
- After about 20 minutes, add pumpkin, coriander leaves, salt and hot pepper.
- Cook until the pumpkin is soft, then add flour mixed in 1,5 dl and chopped dill.
- Boil for another minute.
