Vasa's cake, an old recipe.

Vasa's cake, ingredients:

  • 9 pieces of eggs
  • 20 spoon of sugar
  • 250 g of ground walnuts
  • 3 bars of cooking chocolate
  • 125 g of butter
  • 1 small orange (peel and juice)
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 125 ml milk

Vasa's cake, preparation:

Bark:

  • Beat snow from 5 egg whites.
  • Gradually add 5 spoons of sugar to the snow
  • Gradually add 5 beaten egg yolks to the snow
  • Then gradually add 6 spoons of ground walnuts (about 50 gr) and 2 spoons of flour
  • Bake in a greased enamel pan

File:

  • Pour 125 ml of milk into a bowl, then add about 200 g of ground walnuts, 4 beaten egg yolks, 4 tablespoons of sugar and cook for a while
  • When the filling has cooled, add the grated peel and juice of a small orange, 3 bars of melted cooking chocolate and 125 g of melted butter. Mix well.
  • Pour the filling over the cooled crust.

Sham/snow:

  • Beat snow from 4 egg whites, beaten gradually on steam and add about 10 spoons of sugar.
  • Put sham as a decoration on the cake.
