A concert titled "An evening of the most beautiful Russian and Serbian solo songs and arias".

The goal of the concert is to raise funds for the restoration of the bust of the conductor Slobodan Bursać, who gave a decisive stamp to the development and results of the Youth Mixed Choir of the "Josif Marinković" Music Society from Zrenjanin and in 1987 won the "Choir of the World" award in Llangollen, Great Britain.

At the "Evening of the most beautiful Russian and Serbian solo songs and arias" concert, 15 tracks written by Serbian and Russian composers will be performed, and soloists Nebojsa Babić (National Theater in Belgrade) and Vasa Stajkić (Serbian National Theater in Novi Sad) will perform, while the accompanist will be conductor Aleksandar Kojić (Serbian National Theater from Novi Sad). The guests of the evening will be the Serbian choir "St. Seraphim Sarovski".

Entrance is free, and money will be collected on the basis of a voluntary contribution. Welcome!

To remind:

At the end of 2016, a fund-raising campaign was launched in Zrenjanin for the restoration of the bust of Slobodan Bursać, which was stolen from the Alley of Giants in 2008. The action was initiated by the organizers of the "Slobodan Bursać" Choir Festival, KulturKick Creative Productions and the Cultural Center of Zrenjanin, and "IP media 023" of the Rotary Club of Zrenjanin, CEKOM, the Zrenjanin National Museum, the Zrenjanin Philharmonic and the St. Seraphim Sarovski Choir also joined. The goal of the action is to place the bust in the memorial complex in Zrenjanin's Karađorđev park by June 1, when the anniversary of the famous conductor's death is celebrated.
