Swiss chard loaf - Verica Poznanović - Recipes and Cookbook online

Swiss chard loaf - Swiss chard is an extremely useful vegetable plant, it is related to spinach and is grown for its extremely nutritious leaves. Two species are cultivated, so the range of dishes that can be made is much wider than that of spinach.

Swiss chard loaf, ingredients:

  • 500 g of flour,
  • 100 ml of lukewarm milk,
  • 100 ml of olive oil,
  • 1 packet of fresh yeast,
  • 1 teaspoon of sugar,
  • 1 teaspoon of salt and
  • 250 ml of lukewarm water.

File:

  • 10 small chard leaves,
  • 1 dl sour cream,
  • 2 haha,
  • spoon of olive oil and
  • pinch of salt.

Swiss chard loaf, preparation:

  • Add sugar and a spoonful of flour to lukewarm milk, then crumble the yeast, mix well and let it rise for about 10 minutes.
  • Pour flour into a bowl, add salt, added yeast and oil. Combine everything and slowly add water, stirring constantly with a blender.
  • On a work surface sprinkled with flour, knead the dough for at least ten minutes, then let it rest for about half an hour. Then stir it again.
  • For the filling, chop Swiss chard, add sour cream and eggs, mix with olive oil, adding salt.
  • Knead the dough, cover it with filling and slowly roll it up. Line the pan with parchment paper and place the loaf. Let the loaf rest for another twenty minutes.
  • Put the tray with the bread in the oven already heated to 200 degrees. The bread must never be overcooked, and the baking time depends on the size of the loaf and the oven.
