Baked Czech butt cake - a recipe from a pub in Prague.
- 1 piece of thigh
- 2 onions
- 2 pieces of carrot
- 1 spoon of salt
- 5 g of pepper (in grain)
- 500 ml of beer
- Wash the drumstick and put it in a large pot, cut the onion into large pieces, add cleaned carrot, salt, pepper and pour water to cover the drumstick.
- Put the pot on the stove and cook for 30 minutes. In a deep pan, put baking paper on the baking paper, put a half-boiled buttock, add a little peppercorns, then pour beer over it.
- Cover the pan with aluminum foil and put it in the oven at 200 degrees for 45 minutes.
- Then remove the foil, increase the temperature of the oven to 250 degrees and roast the leg in the oven for another 15 minutes to get a nice crispy crust.
- Serve the baked pork leg on a wooden board with a knife stuck in it. Consume it with beer.
The way the pub is served and the recipe is from a pub in Prague, and the owner of the pub was kind enough to share the recipe with me, and I am happy to share it with you. I bought the beer in the village of Krusevice, and you can also have some of our beer. As soon as I got home I tried the recipe.
