Baked peppers with cheese, a traditional recipe from these regions.

  • 8 pieces of bell pepper (red, larger)
  • 600 g of white cheese (cow's, full-fat)
  • 100 g cream
  • 4 pieces of eggs
  • 1 bunch parsley
  • so
  • crushed hot pepper
  • olive oil
  • 1 cup of milk
  1. Wash the peppers well, remove the stem, and clean them from the seeds, then fill them with filling.
  2. Preparation of the filling: in a mixing bowl, mash the white cheese, add cream, three beaten eggs, finely chopped parsley (leave some chopped parsley to sprinkle over the peppers before baking), salt to taste, and crushed peppers (if you want a spicy touch ). Mix well, so that the mass is combined and even. Stuff the peppers with the mass.
  3. Grease a baking dish with olive oil and layer the stuffed pepper. Cover the pepper with a cup of milk and one beaten egg. Sprinkle with some remaining parsley. Bake in the oven. Serve the peppers warm.
