Green flower - very tasty for those who like spinach, beautiful to the eye, a real flower.

For the dough:

  • 1 piece of egg
  • 1 cube of yeast
  • 2 dl milk (lukewarm)
  • 1 dl oil
  • 1 teaspoon of sugar
  • 1 spoon of salt
  • 1 kg of flour

For the filling:

  • 300 g of cheese
  • 4 spinach briquettes
  • salt (little)
  • 3 pieces of eggs

To coat:

  • 1 piece of yolk
  • sesame (a little)
  1. Knead the dough from the above ingredients and leave it in a warm place to rise.
  2. While the dough is rising, prepare the filling. Shred the cheese, add spinach, eggs and a little salt.
  3. Divide the dough into 4 balls.
  4. Use a rolling pin to roll out each ball the size of a large shallow plate.
  5. Spread a third of the prepared filling on the developed dough.
  6. Roll out the second ball, cover it with the filling.
  7. Repeat the procedure two more times - 4 crusts and 3 fillings.
  8. Transfer the entire pie to the pan in which it will be baked.
  9. In the middle of the pie, place the cup upside down and cut with a sharp knife from the middle to the ends of the pie. Cut the strips into approximately 3 cm.
  10. Twist each cut strip twice. When all the strips are twisted, it becomes a flower.
  11. Coat the whole flower with egg yolk and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
  12. Bake at 200 C until golden brown.
