Požarevac, May 30, 2018 - Hospitality has a strong influence on the development of the local community and has shown great potential in recent years. In order to help these companies manage their business better, a free educational workshop was held in Požarevac for entrepreneurs from the hospitality sector. The event within the project "Ttrends in the hospitality and tourism economy" was held in the organization of METRO Cash & Carry Serbia with the support of the Chamber of Commerce of Serbia. Požarevac was the first host city of the cycle of 7 trainings, which will be held throughout Serbia.
The workshop was attended by restaurateurs and entrepreneurs who received advice from experts in this field on how to improve their business, implement solutions aimed at increasing profitability and improving the quality of food and services. Chefs and experts from the METRO HoReCa Center paid special attention to the presentation of innovative work techniques in the catering kitchen.
The company METRO focuses on supporting business and professionals in the hospitality industry, which is showing growth in Serbia, and we are here to learn and gain new knowledge every day, which is the real goal of this project.

The Serbian Chamber of Commerce recognized this project as part of its strategic effort to strengthen the business of domestic companies, in this case businessmen from the hospitality sector. The commitment of the Chamber of Commerce and businessmen gathered around it, to be a link to entrepreneurs and new opportunities for their business development, is best seen through free training and education projects, such as the one held in Požarevac.
