We are often in a dilemma about those teeth of our babies. When will the first one break out? teeth, when others, when permanent and so on.
So here is what I found out and maybe it will help you.
The first teeth that babies erupt in 99.9% of cases are lower units and they usually come to light between the fifth and eighth month (5-8 months). In our people, it is believed that the family should buy something made of pearl (ceramic), so that the teeth remain white and strong and healthy. Since he won't stay there for long, I think the custom is more for something else, but customs are not discussed 🙂
They are next upper ones (from 7 to 9 months) and twos (from 8 to 10 months) and lower twos (from 9 to 12 months). It's rare that they break out all at once, but usually the upper units go first, then the upper twos, then the lower twos. Sometimes it happens that the lower and upper twos break out at the same time... although it seems to me that the little ones like those rules.
So, most of the time, all the incisors are there by one year.
Well, the order is changing a bit here from the 10th to the 18th month they break out fours both upper and lower with both sides. Some call them first molars.
A from the 18th to the 22th month triplets or as we popularly call them will also appear canines. What has been released so far will not stay there.
But, sometime during that time, they will start to make their way in those little Ustashas and teeth in the fifth place, his majesty - the molars, which will have the honor of getting white somewhere from the 20th to the 32th month. I guess they have a plan to create the most problems. But it doesn't have to mean. As always, each child is a story in itself, so there is no rule.
And now let's add up. So, by 32 months, there will be a total of 20 teeth in those little teeth. Those 20 teeth will stay there for a while, and save space for those other so-called permanent teeth. This shift will start from the 6th year of our little angels, and it should all be finished by the 13th year at the latest. And now the mouth is full of new pearls, 28 of them. There is room, and maybe not, for 4 more teeth, which may or may not erupt. Those famous wisdom teeth, for some people they never erupt, for some they erupt and cause big problems, so they quickly have to be extracted, and for some they grow back and stay there forever, without any problems. And it is a purely individual matter, actually rather a matter of family genetics.
Now that we know (at least tentatively) some schedule of dental appointments, we should also know that the maintenance of these little pearls is very important. As soon as they first come out, they demand a lot of attention and care, so don't neglect them with the excuse - "they will fall out anyway". As we said above, they save space and space for those who come and will stay there for a long, long time (at least we all hope so 🙂 ) Brushing the first teeth is done with small soft brushes, which, of course, you parents do, and if turn it into a game it will be fun for everyone. Most children need help with brushing their teeth until around the age of 10, because then their motor skills are fully developed and they can consciously accept all the rules of brushing their teeth.
We will not advertise any company that manufactures these products - you will have to find your way there yourself, but it is important to take care of the quality of these products and not save money.
Somewhere, in the period when most of the teeth come out, around the age of three, it will be necessary to replace the brush - with a bigger and stronger one. When the molars erupt, it would be good to have a brush with a bent tip to make it easier to access the back of the jaw and clean the molars more easily.
And one more thing. Did you know that teeth need a period to recover (and not just baby teeth). If your baby is regular, as they say, that is, if she eats at a certain time and has defined meals, her teeth should be brushed after each meal and only water should be given between meals. It would be good for us adults to apply that rule as well (but I'll leave that to our conscience). In this way, we give the teeth enough time to recover from the impact of everything that is ingested with food. It would be imperative that the baby's teeth never go to sleep unwashed.
