Yellow green beans - green beans, yellow, green, colorful... Flat or round. Regardless of the shape and color, I almost always cook it the same way.

I wouldn't touch anything there. But sometimes it happens that I prepare it in another way. This is one of them.

Yellow green beans - green beans, yellow, green, colorful... Flat or round. Regardless of the shape and color, I almost always cook it the same way.

  • 3 tablespoons of oil
  • 1 onion (small)
  • 2 pieces of carrot
  • 1 piece of red pepper
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 500 g of yellow green beans
  • 5 tablespoon of oatmeal
  • 4 sprigs of dill
  • 0,5 teaspoons of curry
  • salt (to taste)
  • pepper (to taste)
  1. Fry finely chopped onion, carrot, red pepper and scallion briefly in hot oil.
  2. Add green beans and oatmeal.
  3. Pour water to "soak".
  4. Cook at a medium temperature for about 15 minutes (add water if necessary).
  5. Season with dill, curry, salt and pepper.
  6. Boil for another minute.

Note:

You can toast the red pepper briefly on the hot plate beforehand. Instead of oatmeal, you can use something else of your choice that will give this dish a creamy texture - flour, some other flakes, rice... And of course, when serving, you can add chopped garlic, sour cream, vinegar... It goes without saying that you can prepare green beans in the same way with meat.
