Yellow roll with plum jam - this roll has always been made by our great-grandmothers, grandmothers and mothers. One could not imagine a baptismal celebration or any celebration without this roll. Every household had the material for this cake. Eggs, sugar, flour and jam.
There was no mixer, so we used a wire whisk. Such strings can still be bought at fairs today.
It doesn't always have to be filled with plum jam, it can be any jam, nuts, cream, poppy seeds, everything according to your taste and desire.
Yellow roll with plum jam, ingredients:
- 6 pieces of eggs
- 6 spoon of sugar
- 6 tablespoon flour

Yellow roll with plum jam, preparation:
- First, separate the egg whites from the yolks in a bowl, beat the solid mass with a mixer, add sugar, continue beating. Then add the egg yolks and continue beating until the mass is combined. Add the flour, a tablespoon at a time, and mix gently.
- Then add the egg yolk and continue.
- Pour the uniform mass into a tray covered with parchment paper. The size of the tray is 30 x 20 cm.
- Bake at a temperature of 180 degrees for fifteen minutes.
- Remove the crust together with the parchment paper and roll it lengthwise. Let it cool down a bit.
Fill and roll again. - Cut the roll into slices as thick as you like.
