If you eat while cooking, start each day with a high-calorie coffee drink, finish the unfinished meals of your children and family members, or drink one more glass of wine - these are all some of the habits that will always jeopardize the success of any child, who should you adhere to and, probably, one of the reasons why you are not losing weight.

Just as calories are very easy to add, so are they very easy to subtract.

Why you don't lose weight, reason no. 1: Dieting is not a competition

There is no prize for finishing your dish in record time! You are not a contestant, nor is the consumption of food your participation in a contest or sweepstakes!

A large number of business and private obligations during the day has led to the fact that most of us adopt this kind of unhealthy food consumption habit.

Food should be consumed casually, so that you can feel the taste of food in every bite, and get a signal of satiety from our body, before overeating!

A healthy breakfast should contain both protein and fiber. For example: an egg, a piece of whole wheat toast, with half a grapefruit has only 250 calories, and will keep you feeling full until lunch.

Why you don't lose weight, reason no. 3: You are consuming too many "liquid" calories

We call "liquid" calories the calories you ingest by consuming various drinks and beverages: alcoholic beverages, juices, coffee with cream and sugar, teas, carbonated beverages. Some studies show that "liquid" calories from soft drinks account for over 20% of total calorie intake. The main problem is that the intake of such calories, i.e. by consuming refreshing drinks, you quench thirst, not hunger!

The solution is to consume natural freshly squeezed juices, without any additives, instead of refreshing non-alcoholic and alcoholic drinks! If you must consume alcohol, then choose as weak a drink as possible.
