Cakes with prunes and honey - Marija Mirković
- 200 ml milk
- 1 egg
- 50 g of margarine
- 20 g of fresh yeast
- 2 spoons of sugar
- teaspoons of salt
- 500 g of flour
- 150 g of prunes
- 3 spoons of honey
- cinnamon to taste
- Mix yeast, a little sugar and a little flour in lukewarm milk, leave for about 10 minutes.
- Put an egg, milk with yeast, margarine, 2 spoons of sugar, flour and salt in a bowl. Knead a smooth dough, but so that it does not stick to your hands. Cover with a cloth and leave for about 30 minutes in a warm place to rise.
- Knead the dough and roll it into a rectangle. Sprinkle the dough with prunes and cinnamon, then roll it up. Cut the dough roll into pieces 2-3 cm wide, then place them in a greased baking dish. Bake for about 30 min. at 200 degrees.
- Heat the honey in a small saucepan. Coat the finished cakes with warm honey.
