Lean rolls.
Lenten rolls, ingredients:
For the dough:
- 500 g of flour,
- 20 g of fresh yeast,
- 2 teaspoons of salt,
- 1 teaspoon of sugar,
- 2 tablespoons of oil,
- 280 ml of water.
To coat:
- 60 g of lean margarine for spreading.
And more:
- 60 g of lean margarine (for the dough).
To coat the baked rolls:
- 1 tablespoon of lean margarine,
- 1 tablespoon of oil.
Lean rolls, preparation:
For the dough:
- Crumble the yeast into a bowl, add 5 tablespoons of lukewarm water, mix and let it stand for 10 minutes.
- Pour flour into a deep bowl, add sugar, mix, add salt and mix.
- Pour in the added yeast, the rest of the lukewarm water and knead the dough. Cover with a clean kitchen towel and let it rest for 45 minutes.
- Knead the resulting dough on a floured work surface and divide it into 3 parts (forming 3 noodles). Cover them with a clean kitchen towel and let them rest for 10 minutes. Roll each noodle into a circle with a rolling pin, then coat them with margarine for spreading. Cut into 12 triangles, roll up the rolls and arrange them in a tray lined with baking paper. Cover with transparent cling film and leave to stand for 45 minutes.
- Remove the foil and put a cube of margarine (for dough) on each roll.
- Bake the rolls in a well-heated oven at 180 degrees for 20 minutes.
- Remove the finished rolls from the oven, coat them with a mixture of oil and margarine for spreading (1 tablespoon of oil and 1 tablespoon of margarine for spreading).
- Cover the rolls with a clean kitchen towel, leave them to cool, serve them and serve.
Tip: if you have any rolls left, put them in a plastic bag, tie it tightly and put it in the freezer. Unexpected guests appear, you take the rolls out of the freezer, arrange them on a baking sheet covered with parchment paper, then coat them first with water, then with a mixture of 1 tablespoon of oil and 1 tablespoon of margarine for spreading and heat them at 200 degrees for 5 minutes. They will be soft and tasty.
