Sweet from the violets - I have to mention right away that I picked the violets for a good two hours, that I closed the sweet a little more than it should have.
According to the recipe, I was supposed to get about 1 kg of sweet violets, however, I didn't get that much.
When the housemates tried the sweet, they didn't stop at one teaspoon, it just entices you to eat it.
I wouldn't want anyone to misunderstand me, but this sweetly reminds me of amber, that is, it looks like small gathered flowers in amber.
Sweet from violets, ingredients:
- 300 g of fresh violet flowers,
- 4 dl of water,
- 1 kg of sugar,
- 1 teaspoon of lemon juice and
- 1 lemon.
Sweet from violets, preparation:
- Pour water over the violet flowers and put them on the stove to cook. When the water boils, cook for another ten minutes.
- Then add sugar and let it boil until it becomes thick with honey.
- Then add lemon rings and one teaspoon of lemon juice at the end.
- Gently foam (remove the foam), cover the pot with a wet cloth and let it cool down, then pour it into jars.
