A circle of scones.
Cake circle, ingredients:
- 800 g of flour,
- 40 g of fresh yeast,
- 1 teaspoon of sugar,
- 2 level teaspoons of salt,
- 200 ml of lukewarm milk,
- 200 ml of lukewarm water,
- 250 g of margarine,
- 100 ml of oil.
To coat:
- 1 egg
Cake circle, preparation:
- Dissolve the yeast in lukewarm milk, add sugar, 2 spoons of flour, mix and leave to rise.
- Pour flour into a deep bowl, add salt, mix, then add warm water, oil and yeast, then knead a softer dough.
- Cover with a clean tea towel and leave to rise.
- Place the dough on a floured work surface, knead it and roll it into a large circle with a rolling pin.
- Spread with softened margarine (160 g) and roll up.
- Cut into nine parts.
- Arrange each part vertically in a deep dish (pot or baking dish).
- Cover with a clean kitchen towel and leave to rise (to fill the mold).
- Coat with beaten egg and apply grated margarine (90 g).
- Bake at 200 degrees for about 40 minutes (if it is necessary to reduce the temperature to 180 degrees during baking so that the cake does not burn)
- .Remove the finished cake from the oven, sprinkle with water, cover with a clean kitchen towel and leave to cool, then serve.
